The kids went back to school today. I always find the end of summer a little bitter sweet. I love just hanging out with the kids at the beach and the pool, sleeping in, having no schedule, visiting family and friends... just having down time together. I also enjoy my time while they are at school... I got so much done today! Ready or not school has started and I have a 2nd grader and a 5th grader this year.

I started photographing this little man when he was just a few days old. I cannot believe he is 6 months old now and can sit up. He has lots of smiles for the camera now and is a joy to photograph.

I met up with this amazing family at the Ponte Winery in Temecula for an evening of celebration. The cute couple (kissing below) was celebrating 50 years of marriage! They had their children and grandchildren with them to take part in this special day. I had such a wonderful time with all of them! I can see these two are still in love after all this time. I am so glad I was able to be part of this family gathering.

The details of this wedding were awesome. Courtney created each center piece herself. I could see a part of her in each detail of the day. Devon is maybe the friendliest person ever and it is easy to see he is head over heels for the stunning Courtney.

I had a feeling it was going to be a great wedding. And it exceeded all of my expectations. The food was catered by Monterey Country Club and it was amazing. The music blew me away. It was provided by Mike with DJ Kermie's entertainment. He has such amazing talent.

The evening was relaxing and everything a wedding should be. The dancing that ended the night was the icing on the cake and every single guest was on that floor celebrating!
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I did taking them.

Watching the flower girl reminded me of being a little girl. You could see she was so excited to be part of the big day. She loved her pretty dress and danced the night away. She even caught the bouqet!

We took a trip to Nor Cal to visit Grandma & Grandpa last week. Before we left I was working on some Christmas gifts. I wanted to make some gifts using photos of the kids. I had the pleasure of working with Erin of Erin T Photography, a good friend and fellow photographer. Last weekend I was a second shooter at Amy and Ryan's wedding. They are such a happy couple. I am thrilled I had the chance to spend the day with them!

Erin set up a First Look for the couple. I love when couples agree to do a first look! The moment is so tender and intimate.
